FAQs

What is OxygenRx?

OxygenRx is a clinical operating system for UK private prescribing, a connected platform across patient records, intake forms, appointments, prescribing actions, payment, repeat dispensing and pharmacy fulfilment.

Is OxygenRx only a PMR?

No. The PMR is the clinical core, but the platform also supports forms, appointments, prescribing workflows, payment, repeat dispensing and fulfilment visibility, all connected to the same regulated record.

Who is OxygenRx for?

It is built for independent prescribers, private clinics, digital health operators, enterprise healthcare organisations and pharmacy fulfilment partners.

Does OxygenRx make clinical decisions?

No. OxygenRx supports workflows and visibility. Clinical decisions remain with qualified professionals; that is a line we will not cross.

What does the OxygenRx platform include?

The platform is one connected workflow across the regulated patient record, intake forms, appointments, prescribing actions, payment, repeat dispensing and pharmacy fulfilment, not a set of disconnected tools.

Can clinics use OxygenRx across a team?

Yes. OxygenRx supports team workflows with role-aware access (prescriber, clinic operator, pharmacist, admin). Final permission and role behaviour is confirmed with each team during onboarding.

Does OxygenRx integrate with my existing tools?

OxygenRx is built around a regulated record, but integration scope is reviewed per team. Talk to us about your current stack and we will confirm what we can connect and where the manual handoffs go.

Is the patient record audit-ready?

Every prescribing action, status change and fulfilment event is captured on the patient record for review and reportable export. Final audit-ready claims are confirmed by the product and compliance teams.

Can records support team review?

Yes. Patient records show a connected timeline of forms, consultations, prescriptions and fulfilment events, with role-aware access so the right team member sees the right context.

What are patient questionnaires used for?

They help collect structured patient information before or around a consultation, with answers landing on the regulated record rather than in disconnected form tools.

Can form responses feed into prescribing decisions?

Yes. Responses become part of the wider patient and prescribing context, available to the prescriber during their clinical workflow.

Does OxygenRx support online consultations?

OxygenRx coordinates consultations as part of the operating system, connecting booking, notes and prescribing actions around the patient record. Specific consultation features are confirmed by the product team.

Why connect appointments to prescribing?

Because appointment context, patient forms and prescribing actions often need to be reviewed together. Keeping them in one workflow removes the inbox-and-spreadsheet reconciliation step.

What is a prescription payment link?

A secure payment route generated and sent to the patient by Mediva Pharmacy as part of a private prescribing workflow, linked to the order from the start so it can be reconciled automatically rather than at end-of-day.

When in the workflow does payment happen?

OxygenRx does not impose a clinical process. Workflows are configured around your organisation's agreed steps, and the Mediva Pharmacy payment link can be sent after clinical approval, before fulfilment, or wherever your team decides.

What is repeat dispensing software?

It supports the operational steps around repeat prescription or repeat dispensing workflows, with clearer due rows, order creation and follow-up states tied back to the patient record.

Does OxygenRx automate repeat clinical decisions?

No. OxygenRx supports workflows and visibility; clinical decisions remain with qualified professionals. The platform helps surface what is due and what needs prescriber review.

How does OxygenRx support fulfilment?

The platform connects prescribing to a partner pharmacy workflow with a shared queue, clinical context and status visibility, so clinics and patients can see where every order stands.

Is fulfilment status shown to patients?

Where the configured workflow supports it, patients and teams can have status visibility on their order through the prescribing and fulfilment pipeline.

How does OxygenRx handle data protection?

OxygenRx is designed around how UK private prescribing teams are reviewed, with workflows, access controls and audit visibility your compliance team can read. Specific protections are confirmed during onboarding.

How does access control work?

Role-aware workflows let prescribers, operators, pharmacists and admins see only what they should see, with per-clinic and per-brand scoping and SSO-ready authentication.

Is the audit trail immutable?

Every prescribing action, status change and fulfilment event is captured for review and reportable export, including reason capture on critical actions.

How do we get started?

Request a demo and we will walk through OxygenRx wrapped around a realistic version of your workflow, including patient intake, prescribing, payment and the fulfilment route that fits your team.

How long does onboarding take?

Timeline depends on your team size and existing tools. We confirm a scoped recommendation during the initial discovery call so you know what to expect.
